"Now Im Here" Limited Edition Print

Limited Edition of 85, 24 Layer Silkscreen Print with Deckled Edges on Somerset Velvet paper 300gsm, 68cm x 68cm

The first printed edition from Sebas Velasco of an original work, “Now i'm here” sees a collaging of photographs which bring together the classic architectural and urban elements of his Eastern European cityscapes. The scene is set in “Grbavica”, a neighborhood in Sarajevo, to the right; the glowing neon text typical of Polish landscapes during period of socialism. In the foreground, the abandoned car offers an ambiguous space for the viewer to reflect. Held between past and future, beauty and decay, we explore this familiar, yet impossible composition.
